A vibrant and distinctive Auchroisk 8-year-old cask, aged over 8 years and finished in a 1st Fill Port-seasoned Hogshead. Port finishes bring a unique flavour profile to whisky, adding layers of red fruit, berry sweetness, soft tannins and gentle wine-led richness — all of which complement Auchroisk’s naturally fresh, orchard-fruit driven spirit.

This cask shows excellent integration between spirit and finishing cask, delivering depth and colour while retaining brightness and clarity. At 61.9% current cask strength, it offers strong flavour concentration and impressive structure, making it particularly attractive for a distinctive, modern single-cask bottling.

Selected from a held-back parcel for its flavour profile, strength and individuality, this cask offers something a little different within the Auchroisk range.

About Auchroisk Distillery

Established in 1974 in Speyside, Auchroisk has built a reputation for producing crisp, modern spirit with a distinctive orchard-fruit and floral profile.

Typical Auchroisk characteristics include:

  • Fresh orchard fruits

  • Honey & vanilla sweetness

  • Light floral notes

  • A clean, refreshing malt character

Refill hogshead maturation maintains the purity of this style while adding subtle depth, sweetness and rounded oak influence.
