A richly developed Inchgower malt, aged for over 12 years in a 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead.
This cask has absorbed deep layers of sherry influence — dried fruits, dark sweetness and warming spice — while preserving Inchgower’s naturally distinctive, slightly coastal character.

At 56.01% current cask strength, the whisky offers excellent structure and bottling potential, with the Oloroso influence adding richness without overwhelming the spirit. With solid yields and strong sherry-driven depth, this cask is ideally suited for premium single-cask bottling.

This cask forms part of Global Whisky’s exclusive private release.

About Inchgower Distillery

Built in 1871 near the fishing town of Buckie in coastal Speyside, Inchgower is one of the region’s more characterful malts — known for its slightly briny, earthy notes and firm spirit structure. Much of its production supports blends, making single-cask releases from the distillery highly desirable among enthusiasts.

Typical Inchgower traits include:

  • A hint of coastal salinity

  • Earthy malt character

  • Soft orchard fruit

  • A firm, slightly spicy structure

When matured in a 1st Fill Oloroso Hogshead, Inchgower transforms beautifully — combining sherry sweetness and dried fruits with its naturally robust and slightly maritime profile.
