A rare, well-aged Strathclyde 31-year-old grain whisky cask matured in a Refill American Standard Barrel (ASB)
Grain whisky of this age is highly prized for its velvety smoothness, refined sweetness and complex layers of vanilla, honey, coconut, soft oak and gentle spice. Over three decades of maturation have produced a beautifully rounded and elegant grain whisky with exceptional depth.

At 50.90% current cask strength, this Strathclyde shows remarkable maturity while retaining structure and vibrancy. Long-aged grain casks like this are increasingly scarce and offer outstanding value for premium single-cask bottlings — especially for those seeking something luxurious and unique.

This cask forms part of Global Whisky’s exclusive private stock release.

About Strathclyde Distillery

Built in 1927 in Glasgow, Strathclyde is a major grain distillery known for producing exceptionally smooth, high-quality spirit.
While most of its output goes into premium blends, single-grain casks matured for several decades have developed a cult following, celebrated for their accessible sweetness, creamy texture and impressive complexity.

Typical Strathclyde grain characteristics include:

  • Vanilla cream & honey

  • Soft coconut and toasted oak

  • Caramel & golden syrup

  • Light citrus and gentle spice

  • Silky, rounded finish

At almost 31 years of age, these traits evolve into a rich, luxurious whisky with refined sweetness and deep oak influence.
