A refined Glen Elgin 13-year-old cask matured and finished in a 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead
Glen Elgin’s naturally elegant, fruity and floral spirit develops beautifully in Oloroso wood, gaining depth, sweetness and richness without losing its gentle Speyside charm. For almost 14 years this cask has taken on layers of dried fruits, chocolate, warm spice and rounded sherry influence.

At 56.94% current cask strength, the whisky shows both maturity and vibrancy, offering a full yet balanced sherry profile ideal for premium single-cask bottling. This cask stands out for its harmony between distillery character and rich Oloroso development.

Part of a select parcel chosen for quality, this Glen Elgin cask offers excellent appeal to sherry lovers and independent bottlers alike.

About Glen Elgin Distillery

Founded in 1898 near Elgin in Speyside, Glen Elgin is admired for its soft, honeyed and delicately fruity spirit.
Although much of its output supports blends, single-cask offerings have gained strong appreciation for their refined structure and graceful maturation style.

Typical Glen Elgin character includes:

  • Sweet orchard fruits

  • Light honey and vanilla

  • Gentle floral notes

  • A smooth, approachable texture

Maturation in a 1st Fill Oloroso Hogshead adds richness, depth and warmth — resulting in a layered, elegant whisky with both sweetness and complexity.
