A well-balanced Glenlossie 12-year-old cask, aged for over 12 years in a Refill Hogshead. Refill maturation is ideal for highlighting Glenlossie’s naturally fresh, grassy and fruit-forward spirit, allowing the distillery character to remain at the forefront while gentle oak influence adds balance, sweetness and structure.

This cask has matured steadily, developing clarity and poise while retaining vibrancy. At 60.41% current cask strength, it offers strong flavour concentration and excellent structure, making it well suited to a clean, character-led single-cask bottling.

Held back from a private parcel for its balance, strength and consistency, this cask offers dependable quality with broad appeal.

About Glenlossie Distillery

Founded in 1876 near Elgin in Speyside, Glenlossie is known for producing a light, fragrant and slightly grassy spirit with a clean, elegant profile.
Much of its output is used in blends, but Glenlossie casks are increasingly appreciated by independent bottlers for their reliability and expressive maturation.

Typical Glenlossie characteristics include:

  • Fresh green apple and pear

  • Light grassy and herbal notes

  • Honeyed sweetness

  • Soft, silky mouthfeel

Refill hogshead maturation preserves these qualities while adding gentle depth and rounded oak influence.
