A superbly matured Linkwood malt aged 14 years in a New Wood Hogshead
New wood brings a bold, direct oak influence — rich vanilla, warm spice, toasted notes and deeper sweetness — complementing Linkwood’s naturally elegant, floral and fruity spirit.

This cask displays an excellent balance between distillery character and oak development, with a current cask strength of 53.26% and strong yield potential. The influence of fresh oak has added structure and depth, making this an appealing cask for premium single-cask bottling.

This cask forms part of Global Whisky’s exclusive private stock release.

About Linkwood Distillery

Founded in 1821 in Elgin, Speyside, Linkwood is admired for producing refined, floral and gently fruity whisky. Its spirit is delicate yet expressive, making it ideal for maturation in both sherry and oak-forward casks.

Typical Linkwood character includes:

  • Fresh orchard fruit

  • Light floral aromatics

  • Honeyed sweetness

  • A smooth, silky texture

New Wood maturation brings an additional layer of complexity — giving the whisky richness, oak warmth and an expanded flavour profile while retaining its elegant Linkwood core.
