A richly developed Miltonduff 12yo cask, aged over 12 years and finished in a 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead for almost 3 years now.
First-fill Oloroso casks deliver deep colour, bold sherry sweetness, dried fruits, chocolate and warm spice — all of which combine beautifully with Miltonduff’s naturally soft, rounded spirit.

At 60.05% current cask strength, this whisky shows exceptional depth and intensity while maintaining a refined, balanced mouthfeel. The Oloroso influence is pronounced yet harmonious, making this an excellent option for premium sherry-led bottling.

This cask forms part of Global Whisky’s exclusive private stock release.

About Miltonduff Distillery

Founded in 1824 near Elgin, Miltonduff is a classic, highly respected Speyside distillery.
It is admired for its gentle, creamy and subtly floral character — a spirit style that adapts exceptionally well to sherry maturation.

Although much of its production goes into well-known blends, single casks from Miltonduff have become increasingly sought after, prized for their elegance, reliability and flavour depth.

Typical Miltonduff characteristics:

  • Soft orchard fruits

  • Floral aromatics

  • Creamy, rounded mouthfeel

  • Light malty sweetness

When matured in a 1st Fill Oloroso Hogshead, these traits are enriched by layers of raisin, fig, spice and chocolate, creating a beautifully expressive sherry-matured whisky.
