A well-structured Miltonduff cask aged over 12 years, matured in a refill hogshead that allows the distillery’s naturally rich and weighty spirit to take centre stage. Refill hogsheads provide gentle, steady maturation, preserving clarity and balance while supporting long-term development.

At a robust 58.68% current cask strength, this whisky shows excellent concentration and energy, balanced by the softening effects of extended ageing. The result is a confident, distillery-forward cask with depth and structure, suitable for bottling now or for a short period of continued maturation to further integrate the spirit.

This cask offers a classic Speyside profile with strong bottling flexibility and attractive yield.

Released as part of Global Whisky’s exclusive private stock offering.

About Miltonduff Distillery

Founded in 1824 near Elgin, Miltonduff is one of Speyside’s historic distilleries, known for producing a robust, rounded and malty spirit. Long valued by blenders for its weight and reliability, Miltonduff has become increasingly popular among independent bottlers for its ability to deliver characterful single-cask releases.

Typical Miltonduff characteristics include:

  • Malt sweetness and cereal notes

  • Apple and stone fruit

  • Honeyed tones

  • Full-bodied, rounded mouthfeel

Refill cask maturation allows Miltonduff’s inherent richness to remain prominent, resulting in whiskies with balance, clarity and depth.
